Lapsang Souchong (also known as Xingcun Souchong) is one of the most iconic traditional black teas, originating from Tongmu Guan in the Wuyi Mountains of Fujian, China. Crafted using a pine wood smoke-firing process, the tea produces an amber-coloured liquor with a distinctive smoky aroma, rich and mellow on the palate with a sweet aftertaste.
